Russian Colonel Criticizes Putin and Shoigu, Blames Them for Inability to Bombard Ukraine's Parliame

TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Two Russian colonels criticized President Vladimir Putin and his defense minister, Sergei Shoigu in an 'intercepted' telephone conversation by Ukraine.

The chants and expletives blamed Putin and Shoigu for their inability to attack Ukraine's parliament and other key sites.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has been planning to seize Kyiv within days.

For more than three months, the Ukrainians have been defending their land, and tensions are rising between the Russian military.

The telephone conversation, which was allegedly intercepted by Kyiv's secret service, showed deep dissent among the high ranks.

Shoigu - who did not rise through the ranks - is dismissed as incompetent in military affairs.

They hint at devastating losses on the Russian side in Ukraine, which have not been officially acknowledged.

The colonels were Maxim Vlasov (42) and Vitaly Kovtun (47).

Kovtun voices high-ranking military anger in Russia that Putin failed to order the missile destruction of key sites in Kyiv linked to Volodymyr Zelensky's government including the parliament, the 'Supreme Rada'.

"Why not? Hit Kyiv, hit the centre of the city, buildings of Supreme Rada and Government House. Likely there isn't anyone important there, but the building will be destroyed, and everyone will see it?" Kovtun said.

Vlasov criticized Shoigu for calling him incompetent.

Kovtun complains that his troops are only paid 30,000 rubles a month.

Shoigu has come under fire for gathering officers from Russia's emergency ministry - which he used to lead.

Even Vlasov said Shoigu had never entered the Russian military at all.

During the conversation, he called for the shooting of civilian targets and civilians.
