TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said NATO had not done anything to stop Russia.

Kuleba added that many in NATO have lost the moral and professional ground to make any comments about Ukraine.

The minister was speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Tuesday (24/5/2022).

He added that NATO as an institution has done absolutely nothing to support Ukraine in the war that Russia has started.

"Nato as an alliance, as an institution, is completely sidelined and doing literally nothing. I’m sorry to say it," Kuleba said.

Kuleba said that prior to the Russian invasion, most Ukrainians saw NATO as "more powerful than the European Union."

NATO is expected to express different levels of concern about casualties in Ukraine.

However, Kuleba called this expectation deviated from reality.

His perception of the two organizations has changed dramatically in Ukraine since the Russian invasion began on February 24.

The Ukrainian foreign minister said the EU had now taken a "revolutionary decision" to help Ukraine.

Kuleba said that the EU has proven to be an organization capable of acting as a united front and making powerful, important and difficult decisions in contrast to NATO.

Could you name at least one consensus decision made by NATO over the past three months that would benefit and help Ukraine?” he said.

He did acknowledge that alliance members are “doing awesome and important work, providing vital assistance.

But he said NATO as an institution has done nothing during this time.”(tribun-video.com)
