Kampanye atau iklan ini mengimbau orang menjaga keselamatan di sekitar kereta api.
Dumb Ways to Die sendiri jika diartikan dalam bahasa Indonesia adalah "Cara Konyol untuk Mati".
Videonya menjadi viral pada 2012 silam karena menampilkan adegan sadis, tapi dengan karakter kartun yang lucu.
Hingga akhirnya dirilis game berbasis iOS dan Android pada 2013.
Game ini bergenre puzzle, yang mengajak pemainnya untuk tidak melakukan hal bodoh yang mengancam keselamatan.
Akhir-akhir ini lagu Dumb Ways to Die kembali menghiasi sosial media TikTok dengan video reaksi karakter mereka yang menanggapi video orang-orang yang memakai lagu Dumb Ways to Die dengan video lucu.
